Homework and Happenings

If your child is a car rider, please try to get him/her to school by 8:30.  We are using our morning time for grammar work! Thank you!

Math  -

  • Homework: PW p. 38
  • Division Test - Friday.  Children can use the chapter review on p. 165 in their text book to study.  All skills except the division area models and dividing with partial products are on that page.  
  • Retest for timed multiplication for children scoring below a 90% is next Monday, Sept. 16.

Word Study

  • Study third set of 5 words and definitions.  Practice using the words in sentences!
  • Master the Meaning - classwork grade tomorrow; Spelling/Dictation test on Friday

Science -

  • Finish illustrations to go with vocabulary words, if not finished in class.

Grammar -

  • Worksheet (front and back)

  • Division Test - Friday

  • Master the Meaning - classwork grade on Thursday; Spelling/Dictation test on Friday
