Field Trip Reminders

Book Fair thru Thursday -  summer reading bundle only $20

Important Dates:
Wednesday, May 14:  Field Trip to Stone Mountain
Wednesday, May 21:  5th Grade Awards Ceremony 9:30 - 11:30, Walk and Finale

Field trip tomorrow!  
Reminders:  

• Please wear your 5th grade Burnette t-shirt (the one with 5th grade names on the back).
• Children will need to wear closed-toed shoes because we will be doing a lot of walking AND some of the attractions require it.  
• Children will NOT need and should NOT bring money.  
• Please do not allow your child to bring electronics.  If they bring a phone for an emergency, it should remain put away.   
• Children  may bring cameras (please no phone or iPod cameras) if they wish, but please be sure that it is labeled with your child's name and that he/she will be responsible for it.  
• Children may want to bring a snack and/or drinks for the park.  They would need to have some sort of a small drawstring backpack to carry them in.  
• Don't forget to send a sack lunch if you indicated your child would be bringing a lunch from home.
• Please watch the weather forecast to see if your child should wear/bring a rain jacket.  Additionally, please wear or bring sunscreen!
