Math
- Homework: none
- Some children had trouble with multiplying and dividing with powers of ten today when we were working on both. Grades for those are on the portal. Children with scores below a 75 need to work on making corrections on their papers and we'll have a working lunch next week to follow-up and reteach!
- Shop Till You Drop project - part 1 due Monday, October 20. A sample of a problem and labeled solution is below. Children do NOT have to type the problem, but certainly may if they wish. Part 2 will be due Monday, October 27.
- Decimal Multiplication & Division Test next week (Thursday - class 1, Friday - class 2)
Word Study
- No word study/spelling next week due to ITBS testing.
Science (Morand's Class)
- No homework!
- Microorganism test on Tuesday. Children that want to begin studying early should study their vocabulary cards and the harmful/beneficial microorganism notes we took this week!
- Microorganism Wanted Poster due Friday, 10/24. We've worked on this for the last two days at school. Most children were able to get their research complete and the information typed up!
