Homework and Happenings

Math  -

• Homework:  PW 11.1 (no mixed review)
• Practice timed multiplication tests this week (for a grade next week - 4 minutes for 90 problems) - Study those math facts!!!!  Following is a great website and directions for generating timed tests at home to practice:

To make timed tests for multiplication (100 facts):
Go to http://www.mathfactcafe.com/

1. Click on “Fact Sheets Build It”.
2. Choose “Multiplication” for problem type.
3. Choose “very small” for the font size.
4. Type “1” for minimum range and “10” for maximum range.  Choose a number higher than 1 to make it more challenging.  If you are only working on 6’s through 10’s, you can enter “6” and 10”.
5. Leave answer range blank.
6. Type in 10 rows and 10 columns.
7. Click “Generate”.

Word Study

• Study the first 5 words - spelling and meanings!

Science -

• No homework
