ICE CREAM PARTY!!! (Morand's Homeroom)
- The children earned enough links on our compliment chain for an ice cream party. I'm very proud of the work they put forth to earn compliments in the hall, from substitutes, and in special areas! I'm bringing the ice cream, bowls, and spoons. If you can send in a topping for tomorrow, it would be much appreciated!
Math -
- Homework: worksheet
- Decimal Place Value/Addition and Subtraction Test - tomorrow. Children may use their journal or their text book (chapter 2) to study!
- Please save the Sunday sale ads from your paper. We are going to begin a "Shop 'Till You Drop" project in math next week and your child will need a sale ad.
Word Study
- Spelling and dictation test - tomorrow.
Science -
- No homework!
- Classification Test - tomorrow - Study information on the study guide. Most of that information can be found on the 2 vocabulary graphic organizers, the 6 kingdoms hand graphic organizer, the plant (vascular/non-vascular) diagram that we made in class, and the vertebrates notes/graphic organizers. Those items should all be in their science binder.
- The edible cell project went home Tuesday - we will begin learning about cells on tomorrow. I told the children NOT to stress or even begin to think about this project yet. I just wanted parents to see it and know it is coming up! Due date for this project is Thursday, 10/3.
Grammar -
- No homework
