- Decimal Place Value/Addition and Subtraction Test - Friday, 9/27. Children may use their journal at any time to begin studying!
Word Study
- Study all words for tomorrow!
- Master the Meaning will be tomorrow due to early release and specials on Thursday. Spelling and dictation will still be on Friday.
Science -
- No homework!
- Classification Test - Friday, September 27 - Study guide will came home today for that test. Most of the information can be found on the 2 vocabulary graphic organizers, the 6 kingdoms hand graphic organizer, the plant (vascular/non-vascular) diagram that we made in class, and the vertebrates notes/graphic organizers. Those items should all be in their science binder.
- The edible cell project went home today - we will begin learning about cells on Friday. I told the children NOT to stress or even begin to think about this project yet. I just wanted parents to see it and know it is coming up! Due date for this project is Thursday, 10/3.

- Early Release days are Wednesday and Thursday of this week. School dismisses at 12:50 on those days. Please remember to send a note if your child will have a change in the way that he/she normally goes home!
- Don't forget the book fair is going on now! Mrs. Upchurch's 9:00 - 10:30 group will go to the book fair on tomorrow. In addition, please stop by and visit the book fair when you are here for your conference.
- The PTA fundraiser has begun - this week only! Please consider making a donation - 100% of your donation will go to the school to help fund technology in the classrooms and in-school field trips! Great prizes are being given for the high sellers AND for classrooms with 100% participation!
