ITBS next week! Get lots of rest each night and please eat a hearty breakfast! In addition, please try to be at school and be on time every day!
Many children have used up their glue sticks and are in need of more! We glue a lot!!! :-)
Math -
- Many children need to review the fourth grade fraction skills. We've spent the week very quickly reviewing and it is evident that some children still need more help with these skills. We did a check-up today that I'll probably not put in the grade book, but will ask for children to have a parent signature if the score is below a 75 so that you are aware of your child's progress. I'll hand these out on Monday in my first math class and Tuesday in my second math class. If the paper comes home, PLEASE take the time to have your child make corrections and review those with him/her. There is plenty of practice in the math book - chapter 13.
Word Study
- No word study next week due to the ITBS.
Science (Morand's Class)
- Microorganism Test next Wednesday, 10/23. Children that want to begin to study early may study vocabulary.
- Please send in the lab item requested by the due date on your paper (green paper sent home in Friday folders). Most were due today, others are due next Friday, 10/25. Thank you so much for helping out with these lab items.
