Remember you need a stocking by Friday, December 12, if you are participating in our Secret Santa!
Our classroom spelling bee will next week. The two winners from our classroom spelling bee will particpate in the schoolwide spelling bee on Wednesday, January 21. I encourage children to practice for the bee using the practice sheets that were sent home in Friday folders back in the beginning of November.
Math
- Homework - worksheet
- Math Test (Applying Multiplication & Division to Fractions) - Thursday - Study and review the study guide that we went over in class. It is attached if you need an additional copy or were absent.
- Math journals will be checked and graded at the end of this week! Children should have a table of contents filled in with 31 pages listed. 31 pages of the journal should be filled in - each with a title, date, and page number. If pages are missing or incomplete, children should find an opportunity THIS week to complete their journals! I have a completed journal that children may refer to, if needed!
- Fraction Cookie Project - Cookies and project are due Monday, 12/15. Please see sample project below. I sent construction paper home Friday for this project.
Word Study
- This week we are doing a prefix/suffix/base review from this nine weeks. Test is Friday.
Science (Upchurch's Class)
- Homework: worksheet, if not finished in class
- Earth's Surface Test - Wednesday, 12/17 (That's also our last day for science this nine weeks!)
Reading Log
- Fill in your reading log each night. Turn reading log in on Mondays!
