It is NOT too late to sign up for our STEM night at BES on Thursday.  If you'd like to come, please print out the form with your preferences.  The form can be found on the BES website under the Quick Link "Burnette Blast" and then under weekly attachments.

In-School Field Trip: High Touch High Tech will be here for our class on Tuesday morning, February 3. This in-school field trip has been fully paid for by our wonderful PTA and parent donations during our fundraiser. Our session is called Cell-ebrate. The children will investigate the differences between plant and animal cells using microslide viewers and microscopes. They will extract banana DNA and will learn how their inherited traits help to make them who they are today! This will serve as an excellent review of previously learned science skills!
