In-School Field Trip: High Touch High Tech will be here for our class on Tuesday morning, February 3. This in-school field trip has been fully paid for by our wonderful PTA and parent donations during our fundraiser. Our session is called Cell-ebrate. The children will investigate the differences between plant and animal cells using microslide viewers and microscopes. They will extract banana DNA and will learn how their inherited traits help to make them who they are today! This will serve as an excellent review of previously learned science skills!
Please be on the lookout for the upcoming STEM night flyer in Friday's folder! BES STEM night is January 29. It will be a fun night of math games, STEM , and science fair projects! I hope to see you there! Additionally, the flyer is attached below.
