In-School Field Trip: High Touch High Tech will be here for our class on Tuesday morning, February 3. This in-school field trip has been fully paid for by our wonderful PTA and parent donations during our fundraiser. Our session is called Cell-ebrate. The children will investigate the differences between plant and animal cells using microslide viewers and microscopes. They will extract banana DNA and will learn how their inherited traits help to make them who they are today! This will serve as an excellent review of previously learned science skills!

STEM night is tonight!  Your child should come home with a paper indicating what two sessions you'll be attending.  I look forward to seeing many of you tonight!

BES STEM night is January 29. It will be a fun night of math games, STEM , and science fair projects!  The flyer and reservation form was sent with the Burnette Blast and can be found on the Burnette website.  It was due today - please send it in on Monday if you would like to come!  I hope to see you there!

5th Grade T-Shirts are being offered to our Burnette 5th graders. They came up with the motto on the front and their names will be on the back. An order form was sent home in the Friday folder. I've also attached it below. Orders are due by Friday, January 23.
